In 1994, Marilyn was part of the team that originated HALNet, the internet system at the Houston Area League of PC Users. Ms. Gore served as HALNet's news administrator in 1994-95 and is currently webmaster of the HAL-PC web site, which won an AOL 'Best of the Web' award and was designated 'Best Locally Produced Website' for 1998 by the Houston Press. She also lectures and leads workshops on HTML coding, has participated in seminars produced by the Greater Houston Partnership and writes for the HAL-PC Magazine.
